Lone Rider ADVBags V3 – First Look with Kevin Gallas

Let’s talk about something exciting – the new ADVBags V3. Lone Rider is working on a rackless luggage system made for real off-road abuse, and who better to test it than Red Bull Romaniacs champ Kevin Gallas?
I just watched a short YouTube video where Kevin tested the third prototype. And let me tell you—we’re getting close to something awesome.
What’s So Special About ADVBags V3?
First of all, it’s rackless. That means you don’t need a pannier rack to mount it. It hugs the bike tightly and saves weight, which is gold when riding off-road. Less metal, less rattle, more freedom.
They’re also working on durability and smart design. Kevin’s feedback is based on real dirt riding—not just theory from behind a desk. The system already looks super promising: easy to mount, solid build, and better weight distribution.
Kevin’s Test Ride
Kevin took the V3 prototype for a spin, and not gently. He hit a motocross track to simulate real off-road punishment. His thoughts? Pretty positive. Of course, a few tweaks are still needed, but that’s the point of testing. Lone Rider is clearly listening to real riders before launching it.
My Thoughts?
I haven’t tested it yet (Lone Rider, if you’re reading this 👀), but the direction looks spot-on. I already use a bunch of their gear—tent, soft bags, MotoLights, and more—and if these bags are anything like the rest of their gear, they’ll be solid.
And rackless is something I really like. Especially for those of us who want to ride light and wild without looking like we’re moving house.
